1910年代の朝鮮における公立農業学校 - 植民地期朝鮮の勧農体制と関連して -

Abstract

The public agricultural school is one of the core organizations constituting the system for encouragement of agriculture. The system for encouragement of agriculture is the system in which agricultural experimental stations, agricultural schools, agricultural associations and the administrative system are connected organically to promote farming improvement. Japan got the same system ready in Korea and planned the transplant of the modern farming technique from Japan. The purpose of this paper is to consider what kind of instructional activity the public agricultural school performed in Korean farming villages in the 1910s. In addition, I analyzed the course trend of the graduate and clarified the problems of the agricultural school of this time. As a result, it was founded that agriculture training was regarded as important in the curriculum of agricultural school. And it was concluded that the agricultural schools constantly produced some agricultural technicians and exemplary farmers.
