This paper studies about Shinmudae. Shinmudae is a theatrical troupe that led Korean theatrical circles in the first half of 1930s. As yet, the study of Shinmudae isn't progressed. So Shinmudae remains obscurity. This paper intend to examine Shinmudae's substance and feature. This study will be a groundwork of the restoration of Korean Play's history.
