Limit Cycles in a Cubic Predator-Prey Differential System

Abstract

We propose a cubic differential system, which can be considered ageneralization of the predator-prey models, studied by manyauthors recently (see [18, 20], for instance). The properties ofthe equilibrium points, the existences, nonexistence, theuniqueness conditions and the relative positions of the limitcycles are investigated. An example is used to show our theoremsare easy to be used in applications.
