On a class of operators related to paranormal operators

Abstract

An operator T ∈ L(H) is aid to be p-paranormal if| T|pU|T|px| x| ≥ | T|px|2for al x ∈ H and p > 0, where T = U|T|is the polar decomposition ofT. It is easy that every 1-paranormal operator is paranormal,and everyp-paranormal operator is paranormal for 0 < p < 1. In this note, wediscus ome properties for p-paranormal operators.
