Abstract

Mathematical analysis is made on a meshfree method for thecompressible Euler equations. In particular, the Moving LeastSquare Reproducing Kernel (MLSRK) method is employed for spaceapproximation. With the backward-Euler method used for timediscretization, existence of discrete solution and it'sL^2-error estimate are obtained under a regularity assumption ofthe continuous solution.
