초록
To date, it has been well documented that there is a relationship between alterations in thyroid hormones and cardiac dysfunction. We experienced a case of a 36-year-old man with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) accompanied by undiagnosed primaryhypothyroidism. In the current case, there was a significant improvement in the cardiac function following heart failure managementand thyroid hormone replacement. Our case highlights that clinicians should consider the possibility of hypothyroidism as a cause ofDCM.
