The purpose of this study is to find out that the figure management behavior may affect the sense of self esteem and body cathexis by media for female university students. The results of this study were as follows. First, there is apparent difference in skin management behavior as a result of the analysis of the difference of figure management behavior by using the media. Second, there is close reciprocal relationship among three factors which are skin management behavior, cosmetic behavior of figure management behavior. Third, it is not adopted that figure management behavior may influence the sense of self esteem positively. Fourth, there is positive reciprocal impact between the sense of body satisfaction and that of self esteem.
