최근 웹 검색 분야에서 검색의 질을 높이기 위한 기법들이 많이 연구되고 있다. 페이지랭크 알고리즘은 구글 검색엔진의 핵심 알고리즘으로써 웹 문서들을 효과적으로 랭킹하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 기존의 페이지랭크 알고리즘은 링크의 수만을 이용하여 랭킹을 수행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 단순히 링크의 수뿐만 아니라 웹 페이지의 컨텐츠에 대한 점수를 랭킹에 반영하는 효율적인 알고리즘을 제시한다. 이를 위하여 웹 페이지의 컨텐츠를 점수화하는 기법을 소개하고 링크의 점수에 영향을 주는 2가지의 개선된 알고리즘을 제시한다. 비교 실험을 통해 제안 알고리즘이 기존의 페이지랭크 알고리즘 보다 웹 페이지의 컨텐츠의 점수를 효율적으로 반영함을 보인다.
Abstract
Recently, the Web developed as the media which offers and sharers more information thanks to the rapid progress in web technology. Consequently, a lot of methods are being studied in order to improve the quality of search in web searches. Of these, as the core algorithm of Google search engine, Page Rank algorithm is known to effectively rank. However, existing page rank algorithm is performing using only the number of links. This paper suggests the efficient algorithm that reflects not only the number of links but also the contents score of web page. To achieve this ,the paper introduces the scoring technique of contents in web page and proposes two improved algorithm that has an effect on the score of links. It shows that, proposed algorithm more effectively reflects the contents score of web page than established page rank algorithm through a comparative experimental study on each algorithm.
