Reflexão geopolítica no estudo regional em relação ao Brasil-Coreia do Sul : uma perspectiva coreana

Abstract

동북 아시아와 남아메리카라는 지리적 관점에서 브라질과 한국 간의 정치-외교를 비롯한 다양한 차원의 관계 구축과 긴밀성 제고의 가능성을 높이는 것은 그리 쉬운 일이 아니다. 현재 세계의 지정학적 추세는 세계화의 진행이 성숙기에 접어들면서 기존의 냉전체제 중심의 양극화 기반의 관계에서 다각적 관계의 구축을 통한 다극적인 지역 통합주의로 진행되고 있다. 급변하는 세계 정세가 지역 별 혹은 공간적 다양성을 띤 국가들 간의 협력을 위해 장기적이고 체계적인 지역 통합화가 진행됨에 따라, 서로 다른 지역에 위치한 국가들이라도 서로의 이익을 위해 협력관계를 이끌어내는 시도들이 활발히 일어나고 있다. 이렇게 지역이나 국가 별 통합화 추세에 따라 동북 아시아와 남아메리카의 관계를 밀접하게 연결시킬 수 있는 통로를 마련함에 있어 브라질과 한국은 그 중심에 있다. 비록, 선진 강대국들 틈에서 주도적이고 개별적 태도 보다는 다각적 협력 관계를 도출해야 하는 어려운 입장도 있지만, 기존의 전례에 비추어 한국과 브라질 두 국가 간의 상호 이익적이고, 무리 없는 관계구축이 진행되고 있는 현 시점에서 보다 긴밀한 관계 구축을 위해 창의적 방안 모색과 역동적 실천이 요구되고 있다.
