본 연구의 목적은 우울증으로 인한 자살 예방과 치료에 대한 목회상담학적 접근이다. 자살은 자기 스스로 생명을 끊는 행동으로 하나님께 대한 범죄 행위이다. 우울증은 자살의 주요 원인 중 하나이다. 우울증은 자기 스스로 낮은 자존감, 절망감, 자기 거절, 그리고 죄책감 갖게 되는 정서적 질병이다. 심각한 우울증은 자살과 관련이 있다. 우울증으로 인한 자살은 연예인, 방송인, 고위 공무원, 청소년, 노인 등 다양한 연령과 직업군에서 나타나고 있다. 우울증으로 인한 자살은 해마다 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 우울증으로 인한 자살은 비기독교인의 문제 뿐 만아니라 기독교인들에게도 문제이다. 일반적으로 우울증 치료는 약물치료, 정신치료, 인지치료, 대인관계치료에 도움을 받는다. 그리스도인들조차도 목회상담학적인 방법을 시도해보기도 전에 일반적인 치료방법을 선택하여 도움을 받고 있다. 본 연구는 특별히 우울증 치료에 주목하여 자살 예방에 대해 접근하였다. 교회 공동체와 목회상담은 우울증 치료에 적극적인 도움을 줄 수 있다. 우울증은 정서와 인지적인 문제로 인간을 창조하신 하나님과의 다양한 교제로 인해 치료와 예방에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 본 연구는 우울증 치료와 예방을 위한 방법으로 새벽기도를 통한 회복, 중보기도를 통한 회복, 찬양을 통한 회복, 심방을 통한 돌봄적 대화를 논 했다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find approaches in the pastoral counseling of prevention and healing of suicide caused by depression. The suicide is a criminal act in front of God the action of taking one's own life. One cause of suicide is depression. The Depression experienced by hopelessness pervades the emotions, self-rejection, lowered self-esteem, and guilty feelings. Severe depression is connected with suicide. Suicide caused by depression is appearing in various ages and professions. Suicide caused by the depression is increasing every year. This is not only a non-Christian problem but a Christian problem as well. This research approaches prevention and healing of depression in perspective with pastoral counseling. The church community and pastoral counseling can be a healing resource for depression. This study has been developed in six chapters as follows. In the introduction the researcher argued the necessity of studying. In the second chapter, I examined the preceding studies. In the third chapter, I discussed the understanding of suicide and depression. Suicide was defined as well causes of suicide, and opinion of Christian and doctrines of the Holy Bible. I also discussed the definition, types, and causes of depression. In the fourth chapter, I considered the actual conditions of suicide caused by depression. In the fifth, I researched the approach in pastoral counseling for the prevention and healing of depression. To approach pastoral counseling and its prevention as well as the healing of depression, we discussed the early morning prayer, intercessor prayer, restoring in praise, and dialogue of caring through visitation. In the conclusion, the researcher emphasized approach and coping with pastoral counseling, the use of the counseling center, and practicing of pastoral counseling regarding suicide caused by depression.
