본 연구에서는 인구의 고령화와 더불어 부양자의 고령화에 따른 문제들을 해결하기 위한 하나의 방안으로 노인에 의한 노인돌봄에 참여한 노인들의 자아통합감에 영향미치는 요인을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 D시에 거주하는 65세 이상의 노인을 병원, 노인복지관과 복지센터에서 설문지에 응답하길 동의한 203명의 지역사회 노인을 대상으로 편의모집을 하였으며 2013년 5월 22일부터 8월 30일 까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/Win 19.0을 사용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 노인의 자아통합감에 영향을 미치는 변수로는 건강상태, 돌봄경험의 유무와 영적안녕으로 나타났으며 이들 변수의 설명력은 26.4%였다. 특히 노인의 노인돌봄 경험이 노인이 자아통합감에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 확인되었다. 본 연구결과에 따라 노인에 의한 노인돌봄이 활성화 될 수 있도록 정부의 정책적 지원이 요구되며, 노인들이 노인을 돌볼 수 있도록 맞춤형 간호중재 교육프로그램 개발이 필요하다.
Abstract
This study attempts to provide a positive perspective on taking care of the elderly and basic data for establishing policies to assist elder people to live successful golden years. This study is a descriptive research, which explored the effects of factors on ego integrity of elders. Using a convenience sampling method, this study selected senior citizens aged 65 or higher being local residents or living in general hospitals, senior welfare centers, and welfare centers for the elderly in 2 areas of Daejeon who all are capable of daily life and communications on their own and agreed to participate in this study from May 22nd to August 30th, 2013, as subjects, and among them, the data of 203 people was used for analysis. Collected data was analyzed by using SPSS Win 19.0 program. The health status, experience in the care of elderly and spiritual well-being explained 26.4% of ego integrity. Moreover, elder care experience revealed significant factor for ego integrity of elderly. With these results, we suggest the necessity of participating opportunities should be expanded, and a nursing intervention program should be established care techniques.
