시설노인의 일상생활활동에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

초록

전 세계적으로 노인인구는 지속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 노인은 신체 기능감소와 만성질환으로 활동의 장애를 경험한다. 특히 시설입소노인의 경우 지역사회 노인에 비해 시설의 환경 특성과 더 많은 만성질환을 보유하여 일상생활활동은 더 어렵다. 본 연구는 시설노인의 일상생활활동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하고자 시행된 조사연구이다. 노인 간호의 가장 중요한 목표 중 하나는 일상생활활동을 전제로 한 독립적인 생활 유지를 돕는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 일상생활활동의 주요 영향 요인인 우울과 인지가 일상생활활동에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 시설노인 100명에게 설문지를 이용해 시행하였고, SPSS version 22.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 일상생활활동은 나이(p=.006)에 따라 차이가 나타났으며, 우울과 인지 간에 유의한 상관관계가 나타났다(r=.31, p=.001). 일상생활활동에 유의한 영향요인은 연령(p=.007), 성별(p=.028), 학력(p=.042)과 우울(p=.026)이었으며 설명력은 23.2%이었다. 본 연구결과 시설노인의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 일상생활활동을 증가시키기 위해서는 일반적 특성과 정서, 인지기능을 고려해야 하며 이러한 요인을 반영한 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

Abstract

This study is a survey research conducted to determine the factors that affect the activities of daily living of the elderly in institution. One of the most important goals of the elderly care will help maintain independent living based on the activities of daily living. In this study, in order to cognition and depression are the main influencing factors of the activities of daily life is to understand the impact on the activities of daily living, carried out using a questionnaire to 100 people the elderly in institution, SPSS version 22. 0 were analyzed using. The results were as follows: activities of daily living were differences appeared with age (p = .006), there were significant correlations between depression and cognitive (r = .31, p = .001), factors significant impact on activities of daily living were age (p = .007), gender (p = .028), education (p = .042) and depression (p = .026) were predictive power was 23.2%. The results take into account the general characteristics and emotional, cognitive function in order to increase the activities of daily living to improve the quality of life for the elderly in institution and the need for developing programs that reflect these factors.
