핵심역량 기반 교양교육의 성과 분석 연구

본 연구에서는 P 대학의 교양과목 수강자들을 대상으로 핵심역량에 대한 인식을 살펴보고, 핵심역량기반 교양교육과정을 수강한 학생들의 핵심역량 향상도와 중요도 등을 분석하여 대학의 교양교육과정의 성과를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 2015년 6월에 P 대학의 교양과목 수강 학생들을 대상으로 핵심역량 인식에 대한 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 분석 결과 학생들이 학부생들에게 중요하게 요구되는 핵심역량으로 취업창업 역량과 협업 역량 순으로 중요하다고 응답하였으며, 역량 향상도는 협업역량을 제외하고 대체로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 취업창업 역량을 제외하고 계열별 핵심역량에 대한 인식 정도에 차이는 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 대학에서 핵심역량 기반 교양교육과정을 운영한 결과에 대한 연구라는 데 의의가 있으며, 향후 대학의 핵심역량기반 교양교육과정이 추구해야 할 방향성과 보완해야할 요소들이 무엇인지 파악하는 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of general education based on core competences. In order to attain the purpose, researcher carried out a survey targeting attendee of liberal arts to get the recognition of core competences and to analyze the improvement and the important degree of competences. For the study, Students who took the subjects of the general education course in the 2015 spring term were surveyed. The results of this study is showed the students perceived job and business start-up competency to be the most important, then comes collaboration competency in order. According to the ANOVA test of the students' competency improvements, it showed no significant difference except collaboration competency. This study is significant to research on the results of operations of our core competencies curriculum by introducing a core competencies in general education curriculum. Through the perception of the students' core competencies, this study identified the status and the effectiveness of general education based on core competences. The results of this study will be able to determine what core competency-based education curriculum is supplemented with directional elements need to be pursued in the P university, and get ideas for the Improvement of general education curriculum. It will also be able to become a base material through a follow-up study.
