인문학적 소양에 관한 개념분석: 간호학적 적용

본 연구는 인문학적 소양에 관한 개념을 간호학에 적용하여 분석한 것으로 Walker와 Avant의 방법을 이용하였다. 2000년 1월부터 2016년 8월까지 발표된 연구 논문 중 제목과 초륵을 확인하여 광범위한 문헌고찰을 통해 간호사의 인문학적 소양의 속성과 결과를 분석하고, 개념적 정의가 명확하지 않거나 본질적인 의미 탐색이 부적합하다고 판단한 논문을 제외하여 최종적으로 23편의 논문을 분석 대상으로 선정하였다. 연구 결과 간호사의 인문학적 소양의 속성은 인간중심 돌봄 제공과 인간에 대한 공감적 이해, 간호의 예술적 요소와 미학적 지식 통합, 비판적 사고 개발로 나타났다. 선행요인은 의료의 비인간화와 경쟁적인 보건의료 서비스 전달체계이며, 간호사의 인문학적 소양의 결과로 간호사의 임종간호 수행능력과 감성지능의 향상뿐만 아니라, 전문직의 성장과 완화 간호의 깊이와 폭 발전으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 간호사의 인문학적 소양을 향상시킬 수 있는 전략을 마련하여 간호사의 직업적 성장과 함께 미적 간호능력을 함양하여 궁극적으로 간호의 질을 높이는 것이 필요할 것이다.
Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate the clear concept of nurse’s humanities knowledge. Research used Walker and Avant’s conceptual analysis process. Among the research papers published from January 2000 to August 2016, the characteristics and results of nurse’s humanities knowledge were analyzed through a review of literatures, and finally, 23 papers were selected for analysis. The defining attributes of the concept of nurse’s humanities knowledge include (a) providing person-centered care (b) empathic understanding about human (c) aesthetic elements of nursing and aesthetic knowledge integration (d) critical thinking development. Antecedents to the concept of nurse’s humanities knowledge include a dehumanization of healthcare and competitive health care delivery system. Consequences were ability to perform end-of-life care, improvement of emotional intelligence, growth of the profession, and development of the depth and width in palliative care.
