일 지역 기혼여성의 요실금 유무에 따른 성기능과 삶의 질

초록

본 연구의 목적은 일 지역 기혼여성의 성기능과 삶의 질 정도를 요실금과 비요실금 그룹으로 나누어 비교함에 있다. 연구대상자는 J시에 거주하고 있는 30세부터 75세까지의 배우자가 있고 성생활을 하고 있는 기혼여성 234명이다. 대상자의 성기능은 Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI)와 성관계 빈도 문항으로, 삶의 질은 Medical Outcomes Study 36-Item Short Form (SF-36)로부터 수집되었다. 자료분석은 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술적 통계, t-test, χ2-test, ANCOVA, 그리고 Pearson correlation coefficients로 분석하였다. 연구결과 전체 기혼여성 234명 중 요실금 그룹이 128명(54.7%), 비요실금 그룹이 106명(45.3%)로 나타났다. 두 집단 간에 나이, 체질량지수, 유산소운동 유무, 질분만 횟수, 폐경여부 그리고 폐경후 기간에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 성기능, 신체영역 및 정신영역 삶의 질의 정도는 요실금 여성이 비요실금 여성보다 유의하게 더 낮았으며, 두 그룹 모두에서 각각 성기능과 삶의 질 간에 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 낮은 성기능과 삶의 질을 보인 요실금 여성을 위한 치료적 중재를 위한 기초자료를 제시하는데 의의가 있다. 아울러 더 많은 대상자를 표집 하여 기혼여성 요실금 유병정도를 재분석하고 요실금관련 변인들 간의 관련성을 파악하는 추후 연구를 제언한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare sexual function and quality of life (QoL) among married women in one community by urinary incontinence (UI) and non-UI groups. The subjects of the study were 234 married women who have spouses from 30 to 75 years old living in J city and have sex life. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, χ2-test, ANCOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Of the 234 married women, 128 (54.7%) were in the UI group and 106 (45.3%) were in the non-UI group. There were significant differences in age, body mass index, aerobic exercise, number of vaginal delivery, menopause, and postmenopausal period between the two groups. Sexual function and QoL were significantly lower in women with UI than in women without UI, and there was a significant correlation between sexual function and QoL in both groups. The results of this study are significant for suggesting basic data for therapeutic intervention for UI women with low sexual function and quality of life. In addition, we propose a follow-up study that reevaluates the incidence of married women's incontinence and correlates the variables related to UI.
