초록

관광 비즈니스는 시맨틱 웹을 성공적으로 적용할 수 있는 분야 중의 하나이다. 시맨틱 웹의 잠재력을 실현하기 위해서는 지식경영에서 그것의 킬러 애플리케이션을 발굴할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 시맨틱 웹기반 지식경영시스템의 틀을 제시하고, 관광 비즈니스 분야의 온톨로지를 설계하여, 그 프로토타입을 실행해 보았다. 본 연구에서 제안한 시스템은 사용자와 질의, 온톨로지, 메타데이타, 자원이라는 네 개의 계층으로 구성되어 있다. 그 시스템을 관광 영역에서 도출한 두개의 시나리오에 적용한 결과는 만족스러웠다. 끝으로 본 연구에서는 시맨틱 웹기반의 지식경영시스템이 기존의 지식경영시스템의 검색과 통합의 한계를 극복할 수 있게 하여 어떻게 지식경영의 과정을 지원할 수 있는가를 논의하였다. 특히, SECI 모델의 각 단계와 관련하여 본 연구에서 제안한 시스템이 지식창출을 지원하는 방식이 기술되었다.

Abstract

Tourism business is one promising area of the Semantic Web applications. To realize the potential of the Semantic Web, we need to find a killer application of the Semantic Web in knowledge management areas. Ontology as a key enabler is deigned and implemented under a framework of the Semantic Webdriven knowledge management system in a tourism domain. The system consists of user & query, ontology, metadata, and resource layers. The system was applied to solve problems of two scenarios derived from the tourism domain. The results of the system implementation indicated satisfactory search routines. Finally, this study discussed how the Semantic Webdriven KM system could support KM process by enabling the current KM systems to overcome their search and integration limitations in several ways. In particular, the way facilitating each conversion phase of the SECI(socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization) model was described with implications.
