사회심리적 건강측정도구(PWI)를 이용한 정신과 환자 집단선별에 대한 접근

최근에 개발된 PWI는, 외국에서 지역사회를 대상으로 한 정신질환의 선별검사로서 많은 연구에 이용되고 그 신뢰도와 타당도가 검증된 GHQ를 한국어로 번역한 후 표준화를 시도한 도구이다. 저자는 PWI가 집단선별도구로서의 타당도가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 그 방법으로 경북대학교병원 정신과 외래로 방문한 신경증환자 60명의 환자군과, 구미지역 도시근로자 50명의 대조군을 대상으로 하여 각 군에서 PWI의 평균점수, 그리고 각각의 군에서 SCL-90-R과 PWI의 상관성을 서로 비교하였다.
Abstract
Recently developed Psychosocial Well-being Index(PWI) are standarized instrument after being translated General Health Questionaire(GHQ) in Korean. The author intended to evaluate validity of PWI for mass screening instrument. The patients group(n=60) was neurotic patients who visited to Psychiatry Department of Kyungpook National University Hospital. The control group(n=50) was urban workers. The author compared two groups with average score of PWI, and examined the correlations of SCL-90-R and PWI in each groups. The results were as follows. (1) Average score of PWI showed obvious difference between patients group and control group (2) The two groups both showed correlations between SCL-90-R and PWI Finally, the validity of PWI for mass screening is acceptible.
