The First Four Terms of Kauffman's Link Polynomial

Abstract

We give formulas for the first four coe±cient polynomials of the Kauman’s link polynomial involving linking numbers and the coe±cient polynomials of the Kau- man polynomials of the one- and two-component sublinks. We use mainly the Dubrovnik polynomial, a version of the Kauman polynomial.
