Let M be a manifold with a volumeform w and f : M → M be a diffeomorphism of class C1 that preserves w. We prove that if M isalmost bounded for the diffeomorphism f, then M is chainrecurrent. Moreover, we get that Lagrange stable volume-preservingmanifolds are also chain recurrent.
