초록

사무엘 존슨 박사는 서구 문학 문화의 다양한 역사 속에서 가장 강한 비평가로 많은 사람들의 평가를 받고 있다. 존슨은 우리에게 하나의 문학예술로서 비평이 그 자체가 지혜문학의 오래된 장르에 속함을 보여주고 있다. 존슨은 하나의 문학 장르로서 비평의 권위가 비평가의 인간적 지혜에 의존하는 것이지 이론이나 실천의 옳고 그름에 의존하는 것이 아님을 깨닫게 해준다. 언제나 비평을 위한 해석의 지혜와 지혜의 해석이 될 비평을 위한 규칙들이 존재할 것이다. 존슨은 힘(창조)의 비평가일 뿐 아니라 언어의 의지를 가진 비평가였다. 존슨의 비평은 위대한 업적이었다.

Abstract

Dr. Samuel Johnson, is the judgment of many (myself included), is the strongest critic in the varied history of history of Western literary culture. Johnson shows us that criticism, as a literary art, joins itself to the ancient genre of wisdom writing. Johnson reaches us that the authority of criticism as a literary genre depends upon the human wisdom of the critic, and not upon the rightness or wrongness of either theory or praxis. There always will be those setting rules for criticism, , which will go on being the wisdom of interpretation and the interpretation of wisdom. Johnson was both a critic of power (invention) and of the will to diction, Johnson's great achievement was his criticism.
