Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report the effectiveness of Sihochunggan-tang gagambang and Sunbangpaedok-tang gagambang in the five patients with nummular eczema. Methods: This case study was conducted for five nummular eczema patients who have visited Korean Medicine Clinic. Sihochunggan-tang gagambang Sunbangpaedok-tang gagambang was prescribed to all five patients and evaluated the symptom change through photographs and an assessment method. We used Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) as the assessment method. Results & Conclusions: After the treatment, the grade of VAS was decreased and most symptoms of five patients were improved. As a result of examining VAS scores and photographs, Sihochunggan-Tang gagambang and Sunbangpaedok-tang gagambang can be effective on the nummular eczema in five cases in our study.
