Abstract
The era of photographic enlightenment existed from 1950 to1970. Whereas Social Documentary and Photo Journalism had advanced its selves to the top of all art forms in the period, Hand-made American Photography started to rise as a new "rival" genre, and appears to have a boundless capacity to become a popular study.
