초록
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report the therapeutic effects of Korean medical treatments on plaque-type prurigo nodularis. Methods: The patient presented with generalized prurigo nodularis, predominantly plaque-type lesions on the extensor surfaces of the lower legs. Treatment included acupuncture, herbal medicine, wet dressing therapy, venesection, and pharmacopuncture. Symptoms were evaluated using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and lesion photographs. Results: The patient showed marked improvements in pruritus, localized heat sensation, nodules, and sleep disturbance. Nodules were resolved, and the VAS score decreased from 8 to 2. Conclusions: These findings suggest that Korean medical treatment may be effective in the management of plaque-type prurigo nodularis
