멘토링 교육이 자기효능감과 창업의지에 미치는 영향 - 대학 창업동아리 활동을 조절효과 중심으로 -

초록

대학에서 확산되고 있는 창업교육에서 비교과교육의 효과에 대해 주목하였고, 전문가들로부터 실무 지식과 경험을 간접적 체험하는 멘토링 교육이, 자기효능감과 창업의지와의 관계를 파악하고, 창업실무를 직접 체험하는 창업동아리 활동이 이들 변수 간 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 연구하였다. 본 연구는 2016년 대학생 393명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였고, 구정방정식을 활용하여 실증분석을 진행한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 멘토링(경력개발기능, 역할모형기능)이 자기효능감(자신감, 자기조절, 과업도전감)에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 자기효능감(과업도전감)은 창업의지에 정(+)의 영향을 나타내었다. 또한 멘토링(경력개발기능, 역할모형기능)은 창업의지에 정(+)의 영향을 나타났고, 마지막으로 자기효능감과 창업의지 사이에 창업동아리 활동 조절효과 분석은 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 본 연구를 통해 멘토링은 자기효능감과 창업의지에 긍정의 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인이며 지원을 확대하고 반면 창업동아리 활동은 실질적인 창업의지로 이어지지 않고 단순히 지원 혜택을 활용하기 위한 수단과 스펙 쌓기 등 형식적인 활동에 그치고 있어 청년창업을 보다 활성화하기 위해서는 창업동아리 활동을 양적인 확대・지원 보다는 실질적이고 체계적인 관리와 시스템 개선이 필요하다는 의미 있는 시사점을 도출하였다.

Abstract

This study took notes of mentoring that enable students to acquire practical knowledge indirectly from experts as a non-curriculum area of ​​entrepreneurship education. In addition, this study was also intended to verify the effects of students’ start-up club activities through which students could firsthand experience practical affairs for startup. In this study, 393 questionnaires were collected in September 2016 from University students who took entrepreneurship education. The results of the study are as follows. First, mentoring education (career development function and role modeling function) was shown to have positive (+) effects on self-efficacy (self-confidence, self-control, and task challenge sense). Second, out of self-efficacy, only the task challenge sense was shown to have positive (+) effects on entrepreneurial intention. Third, mentoring education (career development function and role modeling function) was shown to have positive (+) effects on entrepreneurial intention. Finally, start-up club activities were shown to have no significant moderating effect between self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention through analysis. The results of analysis as such indicate that mentoring education is an important element with positive effects on university students’ self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention and is a non-curriculum program that must be continuously expanded hereafter. On the contrary, the start-up club activities carried out in universities do not have any positive effectson actual entrepreneurial intention,but remain as a simple measure to utilize the benefits of support and formal activities for specifications in university life. Therefore, this study derived a meaningful implication that start-up club activities should be practically and systematically managed and improved rather than quantitatively expanding the activities to more practically activate youth startup.
