뇌졸중 환자의 사회적 지지가 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구(서울·경기도를 중심으로)

초록

본 연구는 뇌졸중 환자의 사회적 지지가 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는가를 알아보고자 하였다. 2017년 2월 1일부터 3월 30일까지 서울·경기 북부지역 대학병원, 종합병원, 재활병원에서 입원 및 외래치료를 받고 있는 뇌졸중 환자 232명을 대상으로 조사를 실시하여 불성실하게 응답한 경우를 제외하고 213명을 최종 분석 대상자로 선정하였다. 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는 요인을 알아보기 위하여 단변량 분석에서 유의한 결과를 보인 변수와 필요하다고 생각되는 변수를 독립변수로 하여 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 뇌졸중 환자에서 사회적 지지가 높을수록, 발병기간이 짧을수록, 월수입이 많을수록 외상 후 성장을 높이는 예측변인으로 나타났다. 뇌졸중 환자의 진단과 치료, 재활치료, 일상으로의 복귀 과정에서 가장 직접적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 가족이나 친구 등, 주변 사람의 지지가 외상 후 성정을 높이는 것으로 기대되며, 발병 이후 조기에 재활 치료를 통한 기능을 최대로 높일 수 있는 방안과 국가 차원의 물질적 지지인 복지정책의 통합이 필요할 것으로 고려된다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of social support on predictors of post-traumatic growth of patients with stroke. A total of 232 patients with stroke were interviewed using questionnaires consisting general characteristics, the Social Support Scale, and the Post-Traumatic Growth Index from 1 February, 2017 to 30 March, 2017 of which the 212 patients were finally selected for final analyses from inadequate responses. Multiple regression analyses were performed to determine the predictors of post-traumatic growth among patients with stroke. The higher social support, the shorter onset time after stroke, and the much monthly income, was post-traumatic growth increased in patients with stroke. Based on the findings from this study, it was concluded that social support should be provide as a requirement in the process of post-traumatic growth of patients with stroke and that the early intensive treatment for functional improvement and welfare policy for financial support should be considered nationally.
