본 연구는 시각장애 성인의 생애주기별 보건의료 건강실태 및 요구를 알아보기 위해 전국의 2020년 장애인 실태조사의 시각장애 성인의 원 데이터(Raw data)를 2차 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 시각장애 성인의 생애주기별에서 첫째, 건강 및 질환 관리 실태에서 정기적 진료및 검진 여부에서는 ‘받는다’가 가장 높고, 만성질환 유무에서는 ‘유’가 진료기관은 ‘병의원’ 그리고 질환 치료를 위해 진료를 받지 못한 이유에서는 ‘증상이 가벼워서’가 가장 높았다. 둘째, 운동을 못 하는 이유에서는 ‘시간적 여유가 없음’이, 건강관리 및 의료서비스 요구의 장애인 건강 향상을 위해 강화해야 할 부분에서는 ‘건강 상태 평가 및 관리’가 가장 높았다. 본 연구의 연구 결과를 토대로 시각장애인의 건강과 보건의료를 위한 제언을 하였다.
Abstract
This study aims to ascertain the health status and needs of visually impaired adults by life cycle. The second data was conducted on adults with visual impairments from the raw data that participated in the 2020 survey on the status of the disabled. The study findings are as follows: First, when viewed by the life-cycle of the visually impaired, first, regular medical treatment and examination in health-care and actual conditions is the first priority. Second, 'no time to spare' is the most important reason for hindering engagement in exercise due to health-care and medical service needs. 'Health status evaluation and management’ was the highest in areas that should be strengthened in order to improve the health of the disabled. Based on the findings of this study, the author proposes suggestions improving for health-care for visual impairment.
