초록
Since 2 wooden tablets had been excavated at Sungsan Mountain Fortress in Haman in 1992, now about 200 wooden tablets were reported to the academic world. In relation to its wooden tablets, the first reporter thought that its function was wooden id card. But now the greater parter of scholars think that its function is wooden name list of tax supplies. The wooden name list of tax supplies from the same administrative village were compared in terms of the shape and writing style, so the result confirmed that the wooden tablets which have the same name of the location shows the same style of shape and the same writing style. The wooden tablets was manufactured according to the administrative village unit. The main points of this study are as follows:I think that 'seok(石)', a scale of weight seen on the wooden name list of tax supplies can be read as 'il Seok(一石)', and the meaning of 'il seok(一石)' seen on the wooden name list of tax supplies is not 2 seok but 1 seok. I inquired No. 219 wooden tablet, so the result confirmed that 'bu(負)' and 'bal(發)' seen on the wooden name list of tax supplies can be read as 'jim(-짐)' and 'bari(-바리)' in Korean. Its meaning is 'a package' that is tied up in a bundle, to carry something to a place. The wooden name list of tax supplies on which wrote 'noin(male servant, 奴人) or no(奴)' is not use of two men or more but use of the 'noin(奴人) or no(奴)' one man. On the other hand, there are use of two men or more among the wooden name list of tax supplies. By the way, the tax of this two men is equal to the tax of one man. Therefore there is a tax reduction and favor in Silla in its day, according to one’s age or noble title. This taxation system had made under the influence of the taxation system of South-North Dynasty in China. It was a fountainhead of the taxation system on the basis of Silla Village Register(新羅村落文書) dated A.D. 695.
Abstract
