본 연구는 지역별 경제지표와 개인의 주관적 건강 및 체력상태 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 2022년 통계청 KOSIS 국가통계포털과 국민생활체육조사 데이터를 사용하여, 지역내총생산(GRDP), 1인당 지역내총생산(GRDP), 경제활동참가율, 경제성장률 등의 경제지표가 주관적 건강 및 체력 상태에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 1인당 GRDP가 중위수 이상인 지역에서 주관적 건강 상태와 체력 상태를 긍정적으로 응답한 비율이 유의미하게 높았으며, 경제활동참가율과 경제성장률이 높은 지역에서도 건강 및 체력 평가를 긍정적으로 응답한 비율이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 특히 경제활동참가율이 주관적 건강 및 체력 평가에 미치는 영향이 가장 컸으며, 경제성장률 또한 주민들의 건강과 체력상태 인식에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과를 종합해보면, 지역 간 경제적 격차는 주민들의 건강불평등을 초래할 수 있으며, 장기적으로 이를 해결하기 위한 정책 수립 및 적극적인 행정적 대응이 필요함을 시사한다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the relationship between regional economic indicators and individuals' self-rated health and physical fitness using data from the 2022 KOSIS National Statistics Portal and the National Sports for All Survey. The study examined the impact of indicators such as Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), per capita GRDP, economic activity participation rate, and economic growth rate on self-rated health and physical fitness. The analysis revealed that regions with higher per capita GRDP showed significantly more positive self-rated health and fitness outcomes, while regions with higher economic activity participation rates and growth rates also had greater proportions of positive assessments. Notably, the economic activity participation rate had the most significant influence, followed by economic growth rate. These findings suggest that regional economic disparities may contribute to health inequality, highlighting the need for long-term policy interventions to address these disparities.
