The purpose of this paper is to examine the scalar system of gabyeopda[light]/mugeopda[heavy] in the corpus data. Their basic meanings were used antonymically. But their extended meanings were not used antonymically. In this paper, it has been attempted to analyze the different meanings through the combination of the nouns and gabyeopda[light]/mugeopda[heavy]. First, in Chapter two, the basic scalar system types are presented. It's because antonyms involve a single scale and two separate scales. Also, there are three basic types of biscalar system, depending on the relative disposition of the two scales. Second, in Chapter three, I explored the scalar system of gabyeopda[light]/mugeopda[heavy]. Their basic meanings are assigned to the monoscalar system. But it will be noticed that their extended meanings have been assigned to the different scalar patterns.
