본 논문은 니체의 철학에 등장하는 메타포 “춤”의 의미와 가치를 해명하고, 니체가 희망했던 건강한 미래 문화를 정의해보기 위한 시도이다. 니체가 희망했던 미래문화는 절대적인 신이 아니라, 고대 그리스의 신화와 비극 정신을 토대로 하는 문화이다. 이러한 의미에서 자유정신, 신의 죽음, 허무주의, 힘에의 의지, 위버멘쉬, 영원회귀, 운명애, 모든 가치의 전도 등 니체가 제시한 다양한 철학적 개념들은 새로운 미래문화의 창조를 위한 신화와 비극, 예술과 음악 정신을 대변해준다. 이 개념들이 문화의 토대가 될 때, 모든 사람들은 절대적인 의미와 가치로부터 해방되어, 자유로운 정신과 의지를 가질 수 있게 된다. 자신만의 고유한 삶을 살아가는 자유로운 정신과 의지를 가진 인간들의 모습으로부터 니체는 춤추는 삶의 모습을 떠올렸다. 춤은 인간의 실존적 자유로움을 대변하고, 문화는 이 자유로움의 토대가 되어야만 한다. 본 논문은 춤의 의미해명을 통해서 니체가 희망했던 건강한 문화의 조건을 알아볼 것이다.
Abstract
This thesis is an attempt to elucidate the Meaning and Value of the Metaphor "Dance" appearing in Nietzsche's Philosophy, and to define the Culture of healthy Future that Nietzsche hoped for. The future Culture that Nietzsche hoped for is not an absolute God, but a Culture based on ancient Greek mythology and the spirit of tragedy. In this sense, Nietzsche's various philosophical concepts, including: the Free Spirit, God is dead, Nihilism, Will to Power, Übermensch(Overman), Eternal Return, Amor fati, Transvaluation of all Values, Representation in Myths and Tragedies and the Spirit of Art and Music for the Creation of a new Future Culture. When these concepts become the foundation of culture, everyone is freed from absolute meaning and values, and has a free spirit and will. Nietzsche recalled the appearance of a dancing life from the appearance of humans with a free spirit and will to live their own lives. Dance represents human existential freedom, and culture must be the basis for this freedom. This paper will discover the conditions of the healthy culture that Nietzsche hoped for through elucidation of the meaning of dance.
