On the other hand, the trend of more market-oriented economy has entailed step by step de-regulation of authorities on activities of wreck removal. Under such circumstances, this paper tries to clarify relevant typical administrative and civil issues in relation to compulsory wreck removal and comment on the controversial provisions in current Chinese regulation.
