상악 우측 견치의 선천 결손과 전치부 반대교합을 보이는 III급 부정교합 환자의 문제중심의 치료계획 수립과 치료과정, 치료결과를 보이고자 한다. 상악 우측 견치와 상악 측절치 보철 공간을 위해 상악 우측 구치부 원심 이동을, 전치부 반대교합 해소를 위해 mini-implant를 적용하여 하악 전 치열의 원심 이동을 빠르고 쉽게 이루었다. 치료기간은 17개월이 소요되었으며, 치료 1년 후에도 교합은 안정적으로 유지되었다. (대치교정지 2007;37(4):305-14)
Abstract
Interdisciplinary treatment of Class III malocclusion with congenital missing of unilateral maxillary canine and anterior crossbite is discussed focusing on a problem-oriented treatment planning, treatment progress, and treatment result. Maxillary mini-implant provided anchorage for distalization of the maxillary right porsterior dentition. Mandibular mini-implants were used to distalize the whole mandibular dentition. Total treatment time was 17 months to achieve a successful treatment goal. Stable occlusion was maintained after 12 months of retention. (Korean J Orthod 2007;37(4):305-14)
