기업가정신 생태계에 대한 인식과 세분집단별 창업의도 분석

초록

본 연구에서는 국내 기업가정신 생태계를 구성하고 있는 구성원들의 생태계 내의 요소들에 대한 인식을 측정하고 이러한 인식 요소에 따른 집단별 분포를 파악하였다. 국내 일반 개인 10,000명을 대상으로 하는 기업가정신 실태조사 설문응답 자료를 기반으로 창업기회에 대한 인식, 창업저해요소에 대한 인식, 정부의 창업지원정책에 대한 인식, 그리고 창업 전반에 대한 연상을 측정하여 다수 집단과 소수 집단을 비교한 결과, 다수 집단은 창업저해요인을 내부적 요인으로, 소수 집단은 외부적 요인을 꼽는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 다수 집단은 창업 전반에 대해 긍정적 연상을, 소수 집단은 부정적인 연상을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 일반 개인의 기업가정신 생태계 요소에 대한 인식을 파악함으로써 생태계 활성화를 위한 정부지원정책의 실효성을 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

Abstract

In this study, perceptions of South Korea’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by general public are investigated in terms of their perceived entrepreneurial opportunities, perceived barriers to start a business, perceived needs for government support, and perceived associations with entrepreneurship in general. Survey responses of 10,000 individuals of general public in South Korea are analyzed to categorize individual perceptions into 24 clusters based on four variables of individual perceptions. The three major clusters perceive the internal barriers to start a business and regard entrepreneurship in general as a positive entity, whereas the three minor clusters perceive the external barriers to start a business and regard entrepreneurship in general as a negative entity. These findings are discussed to provide an insight to create more effective public policies to further cultivate the current entrepreneurial ecosystem.
