초록
Abstract : LiNixCoyMn1−x−yO2 (NCM) cathode materials are receiving significant attention in lithium-ion batteries due to their high energy density and excellent electrochemical performance. However, NCM suffers from performance deterioration due to various degradation factors that occur during battery cycling. This review comprehensively analyzes the degradation mechanisms of NCM, including cation mixing, microcrack formation, and side reaction with electrolyte. The review elucidates the causes of capacity fading and lifespan deterioration associated with these mechanisms. This analysis provides valuable insights for enhancing the stability of NCM and provides an important foundation for the development of high-performance lithium-ion batteries.
