This study analyzed the development pattern of 「Paoqiule (抛球樂)」 among the royalcourt performances during the Sui (隋) period in China and the historical development ofit after it had been introduced to Korea. The purpose of this study is suggesting thechanging pattern in the historical development of 「Paoqiule (抛球樂)」 developed in Koreaand China. 「Paoqiule (抛球樂)」 is a representative royal court dance, which had startedas a royal court performance, and maintained the character as an entertainment whilekeeping the format of royal court dance.
Abstract
