Abstract
Hydraulic fracturing is a technique to fracture low-permeability reservoir by injecting special engineered fluids at high pressure. Through this technique, both of reserves and production volume can be increased. Post-fracture evaluation is an important work because it can support not only to conduct another hydraulic fracturing of adjacent wells but also to develop a drilling strategy for optimized production. Post-fracture evaluation method can be divided into direct method, which detects fractures geophysically, and indirect method such as well testing interpretation and production analysis. In this paper, post-fracture evaluation is conducted by well testing interpretation and production analysis. As a result, it is confirmed that vertical fracture was created effectively so it enhances production rate of the well. Therefore it can be concluded that this hydraulic fracturing was conducted successfully.
