시멘트 산업은 대량의 화석연료를 사용하는 등 환경에 부담을 주는 산업으로 평가되기도 한다. 그러나 다양한 폐기물을 시멘트산업의 원료 및 연료로 사용하고자 하는 시도가 적극적으로 이루어지면서 그 성과도 가시화되어 시멘트 산업이 대량의 각종 폐기물을 친환경적으로 처리할 수 있는 현실적인 대안으로 인식되고 있다. 따라서 본 고에서는 시멘트 사업에서의 자원재활용현황 및 관련 기술을 소개하고 친환경 산업으로서의 시멘트산업을 재조명하고자 한다. 본 고가 시멘트산업뿐만 아니라 타 산업분야에서도 적극적 자원재활용의 방안을 모색할 수 있는 실마리를 제공할 수 있기를 기대해 본다.
Abstract
Cement industry, in some points of view, considered as environment-unfriendly because of its mass consumption of fossil fuel and resources. However, So much effort to use various wastes for raw materials and fuel for cement industry have been made constructively and these efforts changed the place of cement industry as an alternative proposal disposing various waste as economically and environment-friendly. This article introduce the present condition of waste recycling in cement industry briefly. It is expected that this article furnishes any clue to grope active resources and waste recycling scheme in other industry.
