생태 여성주의 시각에서 본 초등여교장의역할과 진출

본 연구는 생태여성주의 관점에서 여교장의 진출 활성화를 위해 여성주의의 흐름을 고찰해 보고, 여교장의 역할과 진출 방안에 대해 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 전통적 여성주의 교육 이론부터 포스트모던 여성주의 교육 이론, 생태 여성주의 교육 이론에 이르기까지의 여성주의 동향을 살펴보고 생태 여성주의 시각에서 초등 여교장의 역할 수행을 위한 지도성을 고찰한 후, 초등 여교장의 진출 활성화 방안을 탐색해보았다. 특히 생태 지향적 여교장의 역할에 대한 구체적인 사례를 조사하기 위해 심층면담을 실시하였다. 생태 여성주의적 시각에서 심층면담을 분석한 결과, 교육 현장에서 초등 여교장의 지도성은 맥락 지향적, 교육 지향적, 상징 지향적 지도성으로 크게 집약되었다. 생태 여성주의 관점에서 보았을 때 바람직한 학교를 만들기 위해서는 여성 소외 현상이나 환경 위기 상황의 극복을 위한 지원 체제가 정비되어야 할 것이며, 여성의 전문성과 경험을 반영할 수 있는 정책이나 여교장 진출을 위한 제도 등 적극적인 장치가 마련되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to introduce a feminism for activating the advancement of female elementary principals and to search for the roles of female principals and the plans of advancement. The trends of feminism theories such as traditional feminism, post-modern feminism, and eco-feminism are examined . From the perspective of ecological views, leadership for performing the roles of female principals in elementary schools are also considered. The study focuses on the plan for activating the advancement of female elementary principals. In particular, after analyzing in-depth interviews, the leadership of female elementary principals are summarized into contextual, educational, and symbolic models of leadership. Idealistically schools should be prepared to improve systems for female solitary status or to overcome theenvironmental crisis circumstance, and also be ready for active policies for reflecting female professionalism and experiences or the systems for the advancement of female principals.
