본 연구는 기업의 물류 시스템 즉, 포장, 수송, 하역, 보관, 정보활동에서의 나타나는 환경요인 및 그 기업의 환경정책 현황 등에 대하여 설문분석을 실시하였으며, 주요한 분석결과로는 전반적으로 환경물류의 관리요인에 대한 사용도는 40% 안팎에 달하는 것으로 나타났으며, 하역/보관, 포장, 정보 부문에 대한 사용도는 높은 반면 수송과 물류시스템의 환경관리 사용도는 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 미국과의 비교에서도 우리나라의 환경에 대한 고려는 여러 가지 점에서 뒤지는 측면이 있는 반면 환경적 관심이 부족한 공급업자 거절, 정부의 관여 등에서는 사용 도에서는 우리나라가 높은 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
Environmental issues affect a numerous logistical decisions through the value chain. Therefore many leading businesses now realize that a environmental logistics system can be used to gain competitive advantage. As they take responsibility for post-consumer waste, they are striving to generate revenue or achieve cost savings. or at a minimum, keep from losing money from regulatory compliance. While employing questionnaire survey, this research attempt to identify the firm's implementation of environmental logistics that is the most and least popular for managing the logistics-related environmental impacts such as packing, transportation, materials handling warehousing and information management. The results of this study suggest that the firm's packing and information activities are relative to the environmental logistics.
