개인이 벌이고 있는 봉사활동에 최근 기업이 가세를 하고 있다. 이는 기업 또한 자원봉사의 주요 이해당사자가 되기 때문이다. 이와 함께 최근 기업들은 돈을 기부하는 대신 직원들의 소중한 시간과 재능을 이용하여 사회에 봉사활동을 전개함으로써 좋은 평가를 받고 있다는 견해가 있다. 또한 직원들은 사회봉사 활동을 자율적으로 참여함으로써 조직구성원들 스스로가 직업생활의 질(Quality of Work Life: QWL)에 결정적인 영향을 받고 있다는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 배경을 바탕으로 조직구성원들이 자원봉사 활동에 직접 참여함으로써 이들의 직업생활의 질(QWL) 수준과 직무만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 자원봉사 활동을 수행한 경험이 있는 응답자들을 대상으로 봉사활동과 QWL간의 관계를 규명하고자 한다. 다음으로 QWL 수준이 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석하고자 한다.
Abstract
In recent, enterprises are joining in the private volunteer services, which is because the enterprises are also the major stakeholder of the volunteer work. Along with this, there is a view that the enterprised are recognized positively through their contribution to volunteer services using their employees' valuable times and talents in stead of monetary donation. Furthermore, the employees are voluntarily participating in the volunteer work, by which the members of the organization are critically influenced in their quality of work life(QWL). Therefore, this study was aimed to empirically examine the impact of the participation of the members of organization in the volunteer work on the QWL and job satisfaction. For this purpose, this study was intended to identify the relationship between the volunteer work and QWL with the respondents who have the experience of volunteer work first. Next, this study analyzed the impact of QWL on job satisfaction.
