공간마코브체인을 이용한 서울시 창조산업의 집적변화 분석

초록

본 연구의 목적은 서울시 창조산업을 대상으로 지난 10년(2002~2011년)간 집적 변화를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 시공간적 변화의 특성 분석이 가능한 공간마코브체인(Spatial Markov Chain)을 적용하였으며, 자료는 서울시 통계자료에서 제공하는 424개 동별 사업체 자료를 사용하였다. 창조산업의 경우 인접지역의 집적이 대상지역의 집적보다 위계가 높은 경우, 10년 후 대상지역의 위계가 상승할 확률이 비창조산업보다 크게 나타날 뿐만 아니라 대상지역보다 위계가 낮은 지역과 인접한 지역의 경우 대상지역의 위계하락도 크게 나타났다. 최상위지역의 경우 10년 이후 동일한 수준으로 유지할 확률이 다른 위계의 지역보다 상당히 높게 나타났다. 또한 2020년 및 2029년에서 전이행태를 예측한 결과 창조산업이 비창조산업보다 집적이 강하게 나타났다. 창조산업의 분포가 비창조산업에 비해 주변지역의 집적수준에 크게 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 위계변화가 크게 이루어지는 지역은 상위지역과 인접한 중간지역과 하위지역으로 나타났다. 이들 지역을 대상으로 창조산업을 육성하는 정책이 시행된다면 다른 지역보다 정책적 효과가 클 것으로 기대된다.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the change of agglomeration level of creative industries for last 10 years (2002~2011) in terms of employment at district level, using Spatial Markov Chain. The regions surrounded by districts with high agglomeration levels for creative industries tend to have higher probability to be more agglomerated area compared to for non-creative industries. When regions have lower agglomeration level of creative industries than their neighboring areas, the level of agglomeration of the regions is more likely to go up ten years later. According to forecasting transition chain in 2020 and 2029, there will be more agglomerated in creative industries compared to in non-creative industries. From the analysis results, distributions of creative industries are largely influenced by their neighboring districts.
