북태평양 중부 해산어장에 있어서 저층 트롤의 어획실태

북태평양 중부에 위치한 공해 해산어장(30°-40°N, 170°-175°E)에서 2004. 7. 18. 25일까지 (65일간) 사조산업(주)의 503 오룡호를 이용하여 수심 300∼600m인 해역에서 트롤 어획 시험조사를 실시한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 조사를 실시한 56일간 101회의 조업을 실시하여 18종, 198,593kg을 어획하였으며, 1일 평균 노력량과 어획량은 1.8회 8.3시간 예망하여 3,546kg 을 어획하였다. 어장별 어획량은 B어장에서 가장 많았고, C어장, E어장 순이었으며, 특히 B어장에서 1일평균 13.2시간 인망하여 7,171.0kg을 어획하였다. 수심별 단위인망당 어획량은 300m 이천에서 가장 많았고, 301350m, 451500m, 351400m 순으로 나타났다. 어획중량에서 민사자구가 92.1%, 빛금눈돔이 4.2%를 차지하여 주 어획종으로 나타났다. 주 어획종인 민사자구와 빛금눈돔은 해산의 계곡 같은 요철지역 해저바닥에 분포하여 이를 어획하는데 발생한 어구파손 사고율은 14.9%이었다. 어획물의 평균체장은 30cm 이상으로 어획시험에 사용한 트롤어구의 망목은 적절한 것으로 생각된다.
Abstract
This study was conducted in order to the experiment of bottom trawl fisheries in the sea mount of central northern Pacific(30°－40°N, 170°－175°E), during the period of Jnly 1 to August 25, 2004 by commercial trawl ship. Fishing experiment was carried out by bottom trawl, with the codend of 110mm mesh size. The number of 101 test fishing was done in the sea mount of central northern pacific during 56 days and the total catches were 198,593kg as 18 fish species, and CPUE/day and catches/day were 8.3 hours towing time and 3,546kg. Catch ratio according to each fishing ground was higher with the order of B, C, and E, and catches for B was 7,171.0kg during the towing time of 13.2 hours. Main target species were Pseudopentaceros richardsoni and Beryx splendens, there was 14.9% of damage ratio for fishing gears on catching the target fishes inhabiting on the rough sea bottom. Catches by water depth was the order of 300m below, 301-350m, 451-500m and 351-400m. It is thought that there was no problem on the mesh size because most of fishes caught from the experimental fishing was 30cm over.
