가정에서의 수돗물 사용량에 관한 연구

Abstract

In korea, domestic water, which means clean water supplied by water supply facilities, includes household use, official use, public use, unaccount for use, etc.. The household use of domestic water covers 66.4% of tap water use, but case studies on how much water is used in the tenement houses, the apartment houses and the detached houses are very rare so far. These studies are necessary for water demand management. Therefore, in this study, by surveying tap water use according to the type of houses, water use pattern in household is diagnosed and the possibility of economizing water use is considered. And it is examined whether the present policy for water demand management is proper to the result of this research and the policy direction could be improved. 25 districts in Seoul are targeted for this study and random sample was selected by a computer selecting program. By classifying these samples according to the type of houses(tenement houses, apartment houses and detached houses) and the type of districts, the effect of the number of residents in a house and the area of the house on tap water use is analyzed. From these samples, the consumption of tap water per capita day(Lpcd) in Seoul can be estimated statistically.
