미디어를 활용한 다문화교육의 가능성 모색

Abstract

The necessity of the multi-cultural education was emphasized as Korea became the multi-cultural society, and that various research about the multi- cultural society and the multi-cultural education have been processed. The multi-cultural education to be processing now in Korea got the influence from America. So, a characteristics of the course which Korea marches into the multi-culture society was not considered, as the same time, the content and object of the multi-cultural education is restricted. In other words the concept of Korea of the the multi-cultural education is 'the welfare' not to be 'the education'. The situation without suitable to Korea actual circumstances multi-cultural education, the multi-cultural education to apply the media presents new direction of Korea education. The multi-cultural education to apply the media is processed around the media, a education content is composed of the media content. The education method uses Whitehead's 'Rhythm of Education', which is to integrate constructional education method with traditional education method. It is interaction the characteristic of the education which the media has and the education effectiveness to get through the education method effects to aim. But we wish if we should continue the multi-cultural education to apply the media, wo must do that a media contents development of the good quality which can use to an education data and we must make the media of various many quantity and kind to care the age, the sex, the nationality, and a knowledge level of the learner.
