Abstract

The following conclusions can be inferred when analyzing from the point of design guidelines, design competition, working design for the construction of youth facilities as public buildingsSince the design guidelines are used as basic data in the design competition, area tables for each facility should be calculated according to the usage pattern and the number of users. In particular, the common area ratio should be accurately presented in the range of 20-30%. It also clarifies the purpose of the design competition so that the designer's design concept can be well reflected and minimizes the limiting factors that interfere with the design so that the proposal can be as open as possible. Since the purpose of the design competition is to win the competition, the design tends to be excessive. In particular, the use of excessive common area or excessive decorative elements is largely reduced during working design process, so proper common area for public sector and understated elevation design elements must be achieved. The working design is the stage of changing the winning design to meet the needs of users within the budget of the construction cost. Particularly important is to ensure that the design concept of the design competition, is maintained, so it is important to consult with the design experts for the youth facilities that participated in the competition.
