초록

The purpose of the study was to examine the mediating effects of emotional dysregulation on therelationship between perceived parenting style and interpersonal problems among adolescents. The subjects were497(262 male, 235 female) students in 2nd grade of three middle schools at M city in Jeonnam province. Theycompleted Perceived Parenting Behavior Inventory, Korean Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale(K-DERS), TheKorean Inventory of Interpersonal Problems Circumplex Scales(KIIP-SC). Statistical analyses of data werefrequency, mean, standard deviation, Pearson's correlation coefficient, confirmatory factor analysis and structuralequation modeling. Cronbach's alpha was computed for the reliability of the scales. SPSSWIN 23.0 and AMOS20.0 were used for data analysis. The results were as follows: First, adolescents’ perceived parenting attitude wasnegatively correlated to interpersonal problems and emotional dysregulation. However, emotional dysregulationwas positively correlated to interpersonal problems. Second, emotional dysregulation had partial mediating effectson the relationship between perceived parenting style and interpersonal problems. Third, adolescents’ perceivedparenting attitude had negative direct effects on interpersonal problems. Fourth, as a result of analyzing themediating effects of emotional dysregulation on the relationship between perceived parenting style andinterpersonal problems among adolescents, it was found that adolescents’ perceived parenting attitude hadsignificant indirect effects on interpersonal problems.
