교통의 국제정치: 시베리아횡단철도(TSR) 국제화와 동북아 협력을 위한 한국의 대응전략

Abstract

In Recent years, the TSR-TKR connection project became the key issue with regard to the development of the TAR Network, which was proposed by such international organizations as ESCAP, ASEM. The changes of inter-Korean relations and Russian effort for the internationalization of TSR put this project on a basic foundation. And this call us for nterdisciplinary investigation of geostrategic standpoint of Northeast Asian States, so that we may acquire a balanced view of consideration between “rosy optimism” and “unverified pessimism.” This paper reviews the attitudes of Northeast Asian States toward the TSR internationalization plan, and asserts that it is necessary for Korean side to approach to this project, firstly, from the viewpoint of international relations of transportation,” secondly, of national complex geostrategy between con- tinental and ocean power, and finally, of forming a foundation of multilateral framework for Northeast Asian regional cooperations.
