Abstract

The rebuilding plan for the Northeastern China will make the region be a new growth engine of Chinese economy, following Yangtze River delta, Pearl River delta and Bo-Hai bay district. Western inland grand development project, which have focused on the urbanization and the social infrastructure modernization, is relatively depressed but the main goal of the rebuilding plan is a restructuring of old industrial baseed enterprises in North East region. That is a reason why the rebuilding plan can give lots of business opportunities for Korean investors. Also, considering the fact that North Korea has been on a chronic lack of energy, capital and a poor capability for industrial production, In order to promote the rebuilding for Northeastern China, the industrial structure must be revised and improved, structural adjustments in companies promoted, and declining industries weeded out, with the North Korea taking over technology and equipment in this process. North Korean government will try to get a chance to cooperate with China in order to escape from such economic hardships.
