토픽모델링을 활용한 국내 중년 여성의 심리 및 정신건강 분야 연구 동향 분석

본 연구는 국내 중년 여성의 심리 및 정신건강 분야의 연구 동향과 중심 개념을 파악하기 위해 진행되었다. R을 사용하여 2005년부터 2024년까지 ‘중년 여성’ 또는 ‘갱년기 여성’을 제목에 포함한 여성학, 심리학, 가정학, 교육학, 정신건강의학 내의 105개 논문을 수집 및 분석하였다. 토픽모델링 기법 중 LDA를 사용하여 분석한 결과 토픽은 6개로 분류되었다. 토픽의 크기는 ‘개인의 성장을 위한 삶의 과정’, ‘사회적 전환과 평생학습’, ‘중년여성의 가족 역동 내에서의 삶의 안녕감‘, ‘스트레스에 대한 이해와 대처 방안’, ‘자기 이해와 상담 및 치료를 통한 치유의 과정’, ‘심리적 어려움이 관계에서 미치는 다양한 영향’ 순이었다. 본 연구를 통해 지난 20여 년 간 중년 여성의 심리 및 정신건강 분야의 연구 주제 흐름과 동향을 파악하였으며 이후 중년 여성 연구 방향성에 대해 제언하였다.
Abstract
This study examines research trends and key concepts in psychology and mental health among middle-aged women in Korea. We analyzed 105 articles published between 2005 and 2024 in women's studies, psychology, family studies, education, and mental health medicine, containing ‘middle-aged women’ or ‘menopausal women’ in their titles. Using Latent Dirichlet Allocation(LDA), a topic modeling technique, six topics were identified. The six major topics were: ‘Life Course for Personal Growth’, ‘Social Transition and Lifelong Learning’, ‘Life Well-being Within Family Dynamics of Middle-aged Women’, ‘Understanding and Coping with Stress’, ‘Self-Understanding and Healing Through Counseling and Therapy’ and ‘Various Effects of Psychological Difficulties on Relationships’. This study provides insights into research trends over the past two decades and offers recommendations for future studies on middle-aged women’s psychology and mental health
