본 연구는 스트레스 대처방법이 치주질환에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 적절한 스트레스 대처방법을 통한 치주질환의예방과 발생 및 진행 정도에 긍정적인 성과를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하기 위하여 실시되었다. 연구대상은 창원시 소재 MY치과의원에 내원한 40∼50대 성인 남녀와 같은 지역 소재 M대학 치위생과에 예방적치석제거에 동의한 40∼50대 성인 남녀로 총 326명을 대상으로 하여 설문지와 치주건강상태를 측정하여 조사 분석하였다. 자료의 분석방법은 SPSS ver. 19.0 (IBM Co.)을 이용하여 빈도와 백분율, t-검증, MANOVA, 다중회귀분석의통계방법을 사용하였으며 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 여자보다 남자에서 치은염 지수(p＜0.001), 치주낭 깊이(p＜0.001), 임상적 부착소실(p＜0.01)에 대한 평균이 높게 나타났다. 2. 치은염 지수에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 정서 중심적 스트레스 대처방법(β=0.341, p＜0.001)이 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 3. 치주낭 깊이에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 정서 중심적 스트레스 대처방법(β=0.239, p＜0.002)이 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 4. 임상적 부착소실에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 정서 중심적 스트레스 대처방법(β=0.158, p＜0.042)이 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study to grasp the effects of the stress coping method on the periodontal disease in order to provide raw data for the studies on the development of the training for effective stress copying method resulting in improvement in prevention, occurrence, and progression of periodontal disease. Data were collected from total of 326 subjects in their forties and fifties, during the period from March to October 2011. Using questionnaire and examination of periodontal health, and were analyzed using frequency, t-test, multivariate analysis of variance, multiple regression by SPSS ver. 19.0 (IBM Co., USA). The higher emotion-focused stress coping (β=0.341), the higher the gingival index, the higher the emotion-focused stress coping (β=0.239) the deeper the pocket depth, the higher the emotion-focused stress coping (β=0.158) the higher clinical attachment loss, showed statistically significant positive association. This study suggests that the dental clinic institute needs to implement education program including stress management and coping method improvement in order to prevent periodontal disease and make the occurrence and progression to be managed by professionals.
